Website Change Monitoring

Track meaningful changes to competitor websites and get notified of updates

Competitor websites are constantly evolving. RivalReport monitors these changes and filters out the noise to surface meaningful updates that matter to your strategy.

How It Works

RivalReport uses intelligent monitoring to track competitor websites:

  1. We regularly capture snapshots of key pages
  2. Our system compares current and previous versions
  3. We filter out minor changes (typos, footer updates, etc.)
  4. Meaningful changes are analyzed and summarized
  5. You receive clear updates in your weekly report

What We Monitor

By default, we track the most strategic pages:

  • Homepage — Messaging and positioning changes
  • Product pages — Feature additions and updates
  • Pricing page — Plan and pricing modifications
  • About page — Team, mission, and company updates
  • Blog/News — Company announcements

Adding Custom Pages

You can add any page to monitoring:

  1. Go to the competitor's settings in your dashboard
  2. Click Monitored Pages
  3. Click Add Page
  4. Enter the URL you want to monitor
  5. Click Save

Good candidates for custom monitoring:

  • Feature-specific pages
  • Integration pages
  • Documentation sections
