View LinkedIn ads for your competitors

We're very excited to introduce this highly requested new feature: you can now view LinkedIn ads for each of your competitors.

View an overview in your dashboard, and never miss a change by getting updates in your inbox every day for every LinkedIn ad campaign your competitors are running.

What's New

  • LinkedIn Ad Library – Add an advertiser name for any competitor (we can use their company name, or you can override with the exact name they use on LinkedIn). We pull their active ads from the LinkedIn Ad Library and store them in your account.
  • Dedicated Ads view – Each competitor with an advertiser configured gets a LinkedIn Ads page: a filterable grid of their ads with creative previews, headlines, ad type, and when each ad was first and last seen.
  • Filter by type – Narrow the list by ad type (image, video, carousel, document, event) and by active status so you can focus on the campaigns that matter most to you.

Ads are refreshed on a schedule and when you save competitor settings, so you stay up to date effortlessly.

Track multiple pages for each competitor

You can now track multiple URLs per competitor and capture a separate screenshot history for each.

What's New

  • Tracked pages – Each competitor can have more than one “page”: the default homepage plus any extra URLs you add (e.g. pricing, product, or campaign landing pages).
  • Add and remove pages – Add a new page by URL and optional label; remove any page you no longer need. Screenshots are tied to the page, so you keep a clear history per URL.
  • Update automatically and on demand – Capture a new screenshot for each page by fetching manually in your account. All screenshots are also updated automatically every day.

This makes it easier to monitor specific landing pages or product areas without mixing them into a single stream.

Competitors list and settings

We've redesigned the Competitors area and how you manage each competitor so you can see who you're tracking and what's connected in one place.

What's New

  • Competitor list with icons – Each competitor now appears as a card with a clear visual: a favicon pulled from their website (or a custom icon you upload), their name, and the site domain with a quick link to open it. No more scanning a plain list to find the right one.
  • At-a-glance badges – On each row you'll see small badges for RSS (with feed count) and YouTube when a channel is set.
  • Unified settings modal – Click Edit on any competitor to open the modal where you can manage everything: name and URL, competitor icon (upload or remove), RSS feeds (add, discover, or remove), YouTube channel, and tracked pages for screenshots. You can also move the competitor to another workspace or delete them from the same place.
  • Suggested competitors — Our new AI Suggestions feature displays additional competitors you may want to track. You can now easily add any of these in a single click.

The competitors list is the single place to see all of your tracked companies and everything you're pulling in for each.

AI Summaries

Your competitive intelligence reports just got a lot easier to scan. We've added AI Summaries: a short, analyst-style overview at the top of every weekly report and on your dashboard so you can grasp what matters without wading through the raw data.

Key Takeaways in every report

Each email now leads with an AI-generated summary: 2–3 concise paragraphs that highlight the most important competitive activity, name names, and end with one actionable recommendation.

Summaries are generated automatically when your report runs and are included in your plan at no extra charge.

We hope this saves you time and makes it easier to act on what your competitors are doing.

A few small bug fixes

A few bugs have been squashed:

  • Competitor deletion – Fixed an issue where some users were seeing errors or unexpected behaviour when deleting competitors.
  • Welcome flow – Fixed a bug where the onboarding welcome flow was appearing again for some users who had already completed it.

If you were affected by either of these, things should be working as expected now.

Move competitors between workspaces

Hot on the heels of our Workspaces feature, you can now move a competitor from one workspace to another without losing any of its data

This is handy when you create a new workspace, restructure your account, or need to shift a competitor to a different client or team.

What's New

  • Move from the card – Use the move button on any competitor card to open a dialog and choose the destination workspace.
  • Everything moves with it – RSS feeds, feed entries, screenshots, YouTube channel data, and suggestions all move together. No re-adding or reconnecting.
  • Workspace membership – You can only move a competitor to a workspace you’re a member of, so access stays under your control.

Moving is one-way: after you move a competitor, it lives in the new workspace and no longer appears in the old one.

More intuitive onboarding

We've redesigned the add competitors step in onboarding so it's faster and easier to use.

Instead of the previous dual-panel layout, you now see one clean list: paste or type competitor URLs, and new fields appear as you fill them. If we suggested competitors from your business URL in step 1, those URLs are pre-filled with a subtle label so you can edit or remove them.

No toggles, no separate "manual" section — just one flow.

What's New

  • Less manual entry – Add competitors by pasting or typing website URLs. No separate name field required.
  • Less visual overwhelm – A new empty row elegantly appears as you add a competitor, so you can add as many competitors as you need.
  • Smart, pre-filled suggestions – Instantly see suggested competitors based on your own business URL. You can keep, edit, or remove any of them.
  • Remove any row – Use the × on any filled row to remove it before continuing.

The step still requires at least one competitor to continue, and we still discover all of the information you need for each competitor after you finish onboarding.

Workspaces

You can now create multiple workspaces in your RivalReport account. Each workspace keeps its own group of competitors, so you can separate clients, brands, or teams without mixing data.

If you're an existing user, your current competitors and settings are already in a default workspace — nothing's been lost, and you can create more whenever you're ready.

What's New

  • Multiple workspaces – Create as many workspaces as you need and switch between them from the sidebar.
  • Organised competitors – Keep groups of competitors together (e.g. one workspace per client or brand).
  • Workspace settings – Rename workspaces, set a workspace URL, and manage who has access.
  • Email reports – Reports run per workspace and are sent to everyone in that workspace.
  • Team sharing – Coming soon: invite teammates to a workspace so everyone sees the same competitors and reports.
  • Agency-friendly – Run RivalReport for multiple clients in one account, each with their own workspace.

Workspaces make it easier to share RivalReport with your team and are especially helpful for agencies who want to use RivalReport with multiple clients without juggling separate accounts.

Getting Started

Create a new workspace from your account (or use the one you already have), add competitors to it, and switch workspaces anytime from the sidebar.

AI Suggestions

Our goal is to make it effortless to stay on top of, and ahead of, your competition. We're excited to introduce AI Suggestions: intelligent recommendations that help you build and maintain a complete competitive intelligence setup—without the manual legwork.

What's New

  • Competitor discovery – RivalReport will automatically discover new competitors for you based on your business and the companies you're already following.
  • YouTube channel suggestions – We'll automatically detect and suggest YouTube channels for each competitor so you can track their video marketing with one click.
  • Page monitoring suggestions – We'll suggest pages to monitor for changes based on your business and industry (e.g. pricing pages for SaaS).
  • RSS feed discovery – We'll discover RSS feeds such as blogs, changelogs, and other update feeds and suggest them for automatic monitoring.

Every suggestion is just that—a suggestion. The decision to add or dismiss is entirely yours. You stay in control; we just make it easier to see what's worth watching.
